Food Allergy to Oats#

Aphthous Stomatitis

This patient had experienced major aphthous stomatitis outbreaks since she was a few years old. She was referred to a gastroenterologist for a suspected food allergy. The patient was diagnosed with an allergy to oats. After elimination of oats from her diet these large recurrent ulcerations with proliferative borders disappeared.
